Despite a not so stellar performance at the Grammys by Taylor Swift , her singing partner Stevie Nicks has only good things to say.
Time asked Stevie Nicks for her comments since the magazine has named Taylor one of the world’s 100 most influential people. Stevie says Taylor reminds her of herself “in her determination and her childlike nature.”
Stevie also stated Taylor ”sings, she writes, she performs, she plays great guitar. Taylor can do ballads that could be considered pop or rock and then switch back into country.”
Stevie says when she turned 20 years old, she’d “just made the serious decision to never be a dental assistant. Taylor just turned 20, and she’s won four Grammys.” Stevie says she still walks “around singing her song ‘Today Was a Fairytale.”‘

Truly sad that Stevie Nicks comes out to protect Taylor. Smacks of Kanye West-Stevie, your comment, though heroic, has fallen on deaf ears. The girl couldn’t sing when she hit the music scene and she once again proved it at the Grammy’s. The best thing you could do for her, since you have come to her rescue, is perhaps take her to your vocal coach. Heaven knows she could use the help in that department. Regardless of what Stevie says, we are not tone deaf and we know singing talent and her name is not Taylor Swift!
