Rumors are flying that Julianne Hough and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest are dating…Well, OK Magazine is setting the record straight. During the ACM Awards, Julianne said the two weren’t an item.
“It’s so crazy,” she tells me during the ACM Awards held in Las Vegas this week. “I keep hearing these rumors, but I don’t know. I know him from interviews. We’ve had lunch together with people – my manager, and stuff like that.”
Like sands through an hour-glass…so are the days of our lives…Get it…I crack myself up. Julianne has basically been linked to everyone under the sun since her and Chuck Wicks split…including Dane Cook and Kings of Leon frontman Jared Followill. I guess we’ll have to keep searching for the real dude who’s stolen Julianne’s heart.

Has she denied going out with Dane Cook or Jared Followil?
No, she did not deny going out with Jared Followil. Why? Because she didn’t need to, because he, and his people, did. No, she did not deny going out with Dane Cook. Why? She didn’t seek out anyone to make a denial, and she just let it go, and kept busy doing her album stuff, and it went away.
Why did she deny going out with Ryan Seacrest? Immediately after the rumors started flying, she was at an event with The Press, and was asked. She didn’t seek it, it was asked, she answered. Simple. If there wasn’t the ACMs right then, she most likely wouldn’t have had any denials with this one, either.
She’s been dealing with this since she was 18 years old, as soon as she started on DWTS. And, I’ve noticed that at the beginning, she did issue denials, and it only made people believe the rumors moreso. She isn’t going to be able to win, she’s going to be linked with anyone she smiles at anyway, and people are going to believe what they want to believe. Denying it is going to make people think she’s a liar, but not saying anything is going to make people believe untrue rumors. Either way, she loses.
And maybe she wants to have a relationship in private for a while. She made the mistake when she was dating Chuck, that it was very public, and she was harshly criticized for it. But, having a private relationship, and she’s also going to be harshly criticized for keeping it from her fans.
