According to CMT.com, the Dixie Chicks will release a compilation of their own favorite “chicks” songs on June 1.  As part of Legacy Recordings’ Playlist series, The Very Best of Dixie Chicks,will include 12 tracks; two songs from Wide Open Spaces (“Wid Open Spaces” and “You Were Mine”), three songs from Fly (“Sin Wagon,” “Cowboy Take Me Away,” “Let Him Fly”), three songs from Home (“Long Time Gone,” “Landslide,” “Truth No. 2″) and four songs from Taking the Long Way (“The Long Way Around,” “Easy Silence,” “Not Ready to Make Nice,” “Lubbock or Leave It”).

What a great way to kick-off a tour with the Eagles!!
