Terri Clark’s mother, Linda Clark, lost her long-time battle with cancer on Sunday, April 4th.

TerriClark.com released this statement:

“She is finally at peace and out of pain, our hearts are broken, and we will miss her terribly.”

Terri’s mother was her inspiration for her song “The Long Way Home,” and Linda and Terri were exceptionally close.

“If you think about the person closest to you, who has been your whole life, the one person you can’t imagine not being here — almost an extension of you, that would be my mother for me.”

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Terri, her friends, and her family.
