Carrie Underwood Sports Fiance’s Jersey

During her concert in Ottowa, Canada last night, Carrie Underwood came out sporting her hubby-t0-be’s hockey jeresey.  According to People.com, at the end of the song, a photo of Carrie and Mike flashed on the screen.

“Hello, Ottawa,” Underwood, 27, told a cheering audience of about 10,000 at the Scotiabank Place as she came on stage for her Play On tour. “So I guess I can kind of consider this my hometown.”

It was such a great concert last night in Ottawa. Love was in the air. Mike attempted to go to his seats with the other Ottawa Senators and his brother after Craig Morgan’s set but he was ambushed for photos and autographs so he had to go back out. His brother looks identical to him but skinnier so people took photos with Bud and other players and Mike came back out when the lights went down.

She started giggling at the beginning of “All American Girl” when she was standing in front of where Mike was sitting. It was just such a great time to see that she is so happy and so in love and appreciative of the Ottawa people. People were holding up or wearing Mike’s jersey and Ottawa Senators paraphernalia as well.

I brought a friend that isn’t a country fan at all with me and Carrie won her over and she’s now going to buy all of Carrie’s albums. She even liked Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia. Her tour is quite something, I wish there was a second Ottawa date because I would have spent another 150$ for two floor seats and went again! She sings for two hours straight… just belts one song out after another and her stage concept is so creative that it will absolutely blow you away!

I am going to her concert in April. I have watched many videos from the Play On tour and it looks fantastic. Carrie does not need all the bells and whistles because her vocals is great and I could just sit back and listen to her all night—but the props are great and from what I hear from people that have gone to her concert—you leave the show wanting MORE AND MORE. I probably will feel the same way. I loved her and Keith Urban concert—but they are my favorites.

Carrie got great reviews in Ottawa. The audience was so supportive of her, and she’s gotten so many nice compliments from Mike’s teamates and family.

It looks like Carrie has really stepped up her game this time around- flying trucks and swinging from the rafters are a far cry from anything on the last tour. I love how she’s changed up some of the music too, with the mixes of “How Great Thou Art”/ Jesus, Take The Wheel” and “Songs Like This,” “White Liar,” and “Single Ladies.”
It’s pretty impressive that she’s doing 23 songs this tour- she definatly knows what her fans pay to see.

What I really like about Carrie is that she actually cares about improving as an artist- change certaintly isn’t a factor of “smoke and mirrors” with this woman. I think it’s really impressive that the only negativity I have seen from critics this time around is that Carrie’s voice is so great she doesn’t need all the flash. That’s true, but also a huge compliment coming from some of the toughest people in the business.
