He is well known for his paintings of iconic Americana. His psychedelic, multi-dimensional paintings of historical landmarks in American culture have maintained their signature style and flare throughout his multi-decade career.

OMG! How contrived is that-please enough is enough!Go away please-
No one will remember this “honor” in a week. Half of what she gets thrown at her takes away the entire genre’s credibility (Female vocalist awards, Grammys?). She is a talented writer and has acting talent and an eye for creative projects, but I honestly don’t see the big deal about her.
I would rather listen to someone who has a smaller crossover audience, but doesn’t comprise their sound, while still being faithful to the sound that earned them the label of a country artist in the first place.
