Lady Antebellum sold out the Ryman Auditorium so quickly they had to add a second show because Nashville demanded it (and boy am I glad they did). I hadn’t been to a Lady Antebellum show since they were opening for Jason Aldean on the CMT Tour over a year ago. Oh, what a year and a CMA Vocal Group Award will do for a group of talented artists.
The anticipation could be felt throughout the room in the moments leading up to the start of the show. Surprising enough Charles, Dave and Hillary walked on stage first to introduce their opening acts; Randy Montana and Josh Kelley.
When Lady Antebellum took the stage for their 90 minute show everyone was on their feet and you almost forgot you were inside the walls of the historic Ryman Auditorium. They sounded amazing and their passion for the music was apparent from the first note to the last. It left me speechless to see how much they have grown since I last saw them. The show left me wanting more and wishing there was a third show added for the next night.
It’s almost a shame that most of the fans get cheated out of a full set by Lady A since they are opening for Tim McGraw right now. Come on Lady A….it’s time for a full headline tour soon.

Actually saw them when they opened for Carrie Underwood in York, PA back in 2008 prior to their first album being released. Their first song just barely started playing on radio. It is so refreshing and fun to watch someone when they are unknown and then making it big. Pretty neat. I remember asking who or what is this Lady Antebellum. Everybody knows them now.
I saw Lady A almost exactly a year ago at a small little country bar in my hometown. They were somewhat popular, obviously not nearly where they are at now. I wanna say they had only 2 singles out at that time. The bar was fairly small but what a freakin’ great show it was. I always look back on that concert and think how far theyve come in just a year. It’s amazing. There is no possible way they could play that country bar again. It would be a mob scene. Glad to see them move on to bigger venues. I absolutely adore them. I think they are so down to earth and despite their hugh success so far, they seem like regular, relatable people to me. It’s awesome!
