Carrie Underwood kicked-off her Play On tour in Reading, PA yesterday. There are already TONS of videos on Youtube of the opening night’s performances. Here is Carrie singing “Temporary Home” and “Undo It.”
WHAT A GREAT CONCERT!!!!!!!!! I was not going to watch the videos on youtube because I wanted to wait to see her concert in April—–BUT——-I could not resist watching them and now I am going crazy knowing that I won’t be able to see her until April. They are using fantastic technology and props for her songs. They are great and Carrie’s vocals are fantastic. CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What I wouldn’t give to be able to go see her live. I’ve read a few reviews and I’m disappointed to read that people don’t think she needs gimmicks because she has such an incredible voice. And I agree that Carrie probably has the best voice in music today. Of course everytime someone does a review there has to be something negative. I’m glad Carrie has a lot going on during her show. I’m glad for her and I’m glad for the fans. Seeing her on a swing – that’s cute. Getting up high in the back of the truck to see more faces, get closer to the fans…I think that’s wonderful and I’ll bet the people way up in the back appreciate the effort. She’s performing a concert. This is a big deal. It’s huge. She really has an incredible voice and she should do everything she can to make the concert a memorable experience. I say GOOD for Carrie. Keep doing what you’re doing and those who don’t “think” she needs gimmicks – don’t watch but do find something you enjoy. Life’s too short to be commenting on something you don’t like.
