Last night, Casey James performed Keith Urban’s “You’ll Think of Me” on American Idol. Normally a HUGE Casey fan (I’ll admit his looks don’t hurt), I was shocked…appalled…utterly stupefied by his performance. I mean…”You’ll Think of Me” is ALL about the feeling and emotion…If he wanted to wow the crowd with this song…He probably should have sang Keith’s live version and really worked it. Take a look at both and tell me what you think…He almost had it…

To be honest I was too distracted / excited at first by the fact that this beautiful man was singing my favorite Keith Urban song to really care about whether or not he was actually any good. Watching it back tho…. it was really dull and lifeless. (Oh well, thats what the mute button is for

This is one of my favorite Keith Urban songs. Casey’s performance was so dull — this is an emotional song! He should have watched some of the You Tube videos of the song beforehand.
I was SUPER excited when I heard someone was singing Keith Urban! This is one of my all time fav live performances that I love from Keith and it looked like Casey was getting into it towards the middle but the ending of it was dull like the others said…no one will ever be able to do it like Keith but at least someone gave it a shot. Casey just scored a few more points with me just from picking a fantastic song
