Nice to see people voting for Darryl. Great idea for a poll.

  2. Maggie McKenna says:

Any of those except the dixie chicks. Surest way for me to change the radio station is to play one of their songs.

  3. SparksFly_TS says:

Would really like for Shania to comeback. She’s awesome!

  4. Star says:

Hey, Steve Azar didn’t go anywhere!!! He’s been writing and singing the whole time!!!

    Great new song…Sunshine…check it out!!!

  5. AKLnation says:

I am a big fan of Steve Azar! He has a new one out called Sunshine, that my best friend is going to use at his wedding for their first dance. Steve tears down the house live.

  6. marredd says:

Steve Azar rocks! His live stuff is awesome, and his heart is just huge. Love him! Check out “Sunshine” if you are still buried in the snow!!!!

  7. Ashley says:

who honestly is voting for the Dixie Chicks?

I voted for Josh Gracin. he’s a great great and a fantastic singer. saw him for the first time in May 2008 and he was amazing!

  8. marie says:

STEVE AZAR no doubt! He’s been here all along just needs more air-time for people to appreciate his unique and absolute awesome talent. You havn’t enjoyed a concert til you’ve seen Steve and his band live! Listen out for SUNSHINE, his latest single. STEVEAZARLIVE.com, check it out!

  9. Bristy says:

I am ready to hear from Shania again!!

  10. Sarah D. says:

It would be so great to hear more from Josh Gracin on the radio. I do not understand why he is not a MAJOR country artist. This guy sounds awesome live. And he is HOTT!

Why isn’t Emerson Drive on this list? Those guys are hella talented, but they just keep getting caught in label politics after label politics. Hardest working and most talented band out there!

  12. Sabrina5000 says:

Daryle Singletary is another not on the list. Has a great voice. Had a few hits but not nearly enough.

  13. hip country fan says:

Steve Azar has been long overdue to have the success of a Shania or dixie Chicks. His songwriting talks to every man, he’s a true poet in every sense of the word and as an entertainer better than all the above.

Steve Azar period…no bright lights needed, no smoke or mirrors!!! all the other acts have had real opportunity’s it seems and Azar has had his success with none of that. It would be cool to see it. I first saw him on the Bob Seger Tour in Portland at The Rose Garden, he was dynamic. My teen age son was on his feet at the end of his performance along with 15,000 other Seger fans. No wonder Bob wanted him out there with him. We have become big supporters of his music. If you haven’t heard Indianola or his latest Slide On Over Here, its worth every penny. Brilliant!!!!
