Small Town USA got grew by one yesterday as Justin Moore and his wife Kate welcomed daughter Ella Kole Moore into the world. The baby girl was born by scheduled Cesarean section Thursday as Justin was taking a short break from touring.

Justin took to Twitter to announce the birth to his fans and friends. “All I can say is wow! Only been a dad for 8 hours, but its the most unbelievable thing Ive ever been through! So thankful tonight holdn her!” he wrote Thursday evening.

Justin’s fans and music friends took to Twitter to say congratulations, including Chris Young, who tweeted: “congrats man! You’re gonna be a great dad”; and DJs from across the country, including California’s @IndianaAL, “Congratulations from everybody here at KRTY in San Jose!”

Earlier in the week Justin got a laugh from fan @allyrok05, who tweeted: “@justincolemoore so are you a DILF yet? Its baby week!!”

DILF, of course, stands for “Dad I’d Like to Follow.” This is Twitter, remember! Justin called the message, “THE tweet of the year so far! Lol.”

Justin is back on the road this weekend with shows with Chris Young in Texas, and then rejoins the the American Saturday Night Tour with Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert next week.
