Ty-If you like Taylor's music...don't let her grammy performance fool you. I've seen her at the Opry...very stripped down and she sounded EXACTLY like she sounds on her records. I'd only seen her on tv before then and I was assuming she would sound terrible...but she sounded great. I also went to see her fearless tour w/very little hope of enjoying myself. However, I had a GREAT time...she puts ona great show! She sounded great! I would go again. Don't let people who've only seen her on tv tell you how she was...cuz live she's great. I had only ever seen Rascal Flatts on tv...they nearly always sound like crap on tv....but at the Opry...they didn't suck. Not a fan of their music, but they sound good live. So...if you like her music and you have her albums...give her live show a try...I don't think you'll be disappointed. Awards shows are almost always a let down for most people...

I agree with the above statement. Why can't she sing her own songs in tune????? Because she can't sing. I feel that we have been cheated also--and I am very mad because I bought her records. My friends and I were like What the-----when we heard her singing at the grammys. We checked out her other live performances at awards shows---she is terrible. She definately needs voice lessons BAD!!!!! We are college students-and a lot of us got together to watch the grammys. All of us are now ex-fans. We like a good voice--and when we buy albums (cause we don't have a lot of money) we want someone who can really deliver the goods and not fake it in the studio. She probably could care less what we think anyway.

Naomi is just jumping on the band wagon because she's going on tour and needs the publicity. Best place to get it is in the middle of a controversy. The fact remains that no one has questioned whether Taylor is nice or respects others, it all has to do with her singing. She cannot sing. Of course any time you sing live there will be nerves, everyone is smart enough to understand that. But when you sing live over and over again (as a singer) there should be at least one good performance somewhere...the fact remains that Taylor cannot sing and she's been lying to the public by releasing CD's with a manufactured [in studio] voice. That's lying. That's getting people to buy something that is fake. And then to use every excuse in the book, nerves, didn't feel good, equipment failure...COME ON!!! Why does Martina always sound good when she's singing? Why does Reba always sound good when she's singing...it's called talent. Taylor doens't have any singing talent.

Naomi is so far out in left field. I think she is doing damage control when Wynona made that comment about Taylor winning Entertainer of the Year award-again-thanks to Kanye West! We all remember the tongue lashing Wynona received. Can we say The Judd's are touring again? Nice try Naomi-she can't sing and you coming to defend her still doesn't make it so-

Yeah...what K said! lol So give her the award for "best role model"...thats fine, I just don't think she's that vocally talented. And where's the arguement, "But she writes her own songs"...like she's the ONLY songwriter in Nashville...what a joke!
