TelluRide is set to perform at a benefit to honor fallen police officers from their home state of Washington.
On November 29, 2009 four Lakewood, Washington police officers were killed in the line of duty. The benefit concert will be held on February 27th at the Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester, WA. This event will honor their service and help raise funds for the Washington State Behind the Badge Foundation, which will go to help the families of officers Renninger, Owens, Griswold and Richards, as well as other officers and families who have been injured or lost in the line of duty.
“The Lakewood tragedy was such an eye-opener to the needs of the families of fallen officers in the area,” says TelluRide’s lead singer Adam Craig. “We knew that we wanted to do something to help, so we jumped at the opportunity to participate in this benefit show. We’re hoping for a great turnout to help support such a worthy cause.”
Tickets for the event are $30 and on sale now through the Lucky Eagle Casino box office (1-800-720-1788), Ticketmaster, and Dave’s Thriftway (360-264-5650) in Tenino, WA.
