This week, Jason Aldean’s “The Truth” holds the number 1 spot for another week.  This marks the third consecutive multi-week number 1 from  Wide Open.  Jason has spent a total of eight weeks at the summit in only nine months, more than any other country artist in the last year.

“I don’t think my fans expected me to come out with a song this traditional, but it was important to me to show them this side of what I like to do as well.  It may have been a curve-ball for them, but for me, it was an obvious nod to some of my childhood influences like McGraw and Strait.” says Aldean.  “The last year has been one crazy ride…thanks to my awesome fans, my producer, my band and crew, country radio and the list goes on and on…my wildest dreams didn’t look this good.”
