Rascal Flatts spent last night celebrating with over 80 songwriters who’ve contributed to the bands 6 albums. The group gathered at the Musicians Hall of Fame to honor those who’ve helped the trio find success by contributing their lyrics.
“It starts with a song and it ends with a song,” said Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus. “We can talk about ‘Bless The Broken Road’ and ‘I’m Movin’ On’ that were amazing singles for us, but equally as important are those songs that were on our albums that never became singles. Those songs too touched people’s lives each and every day.”
The evening included the performances of 8 of Rascal Flatts’ eleven #1 hits performed by the original songwriters. As the evening wrapped, Rascal Flatts honored each member of the assembled group with a custom engraved plaque honoring the songwriters and songs of the band’s first ten years.

I just love that they are so down to earth and know where they came from and who helped them along the way.
One of the reasons why I love them so much is because of their attitude toward the people and fans who have helped them get where they are. This is a great example to set other artists and people in general. Thanks for the article.
