We’re bloggin live during the 2010 Grammy Awards…There ain’t a whole lotta awards left to hand out so we’ll probably be talking about the performances….
- Lady Gaga opening the show…I just don’t understand…I’ll be honest…It’s fine until you open your eyes…then it’s like…what the heck is that? What is going on? I just don’t get it…but apparently I’m a minority. Oh…wait…there’s Elton John…this just got tolerable…Someone call the fashion police.
- and Song of the year is….. (btw Stephen Colbert is hysterical) “All the Single Ladies”…Sorry T-Swizzle…
- Everyone visit www.cbs.com/grammys and vote for “Livin on a Prayer” to take me back to my rollerskating days…oh Bon Jovi
- Best Country Album goes to Taylor Swift for Fearless…I ain’t gonna lie…I was hoping for Keith Urban. Great speech Taylor, but you need to stop acting shocked that you won…own it…Love seeing your mom there clapping…
- Beyonce isn’t wearing her signature leotard…thank goodness…Wait…did she just grab her crotch?! Um…okay…Oh my goodness…Beyonce covering Alanis Morrisette “You Oughta Know”…wowser…
- Pink is performing…very toned down performance for her…liking it…okay..from a sparkly robe to nothing but ribbons covering her assets….I’m not sure how I feel about that…Suddenly feel like I’m watching cirque du soleil
- Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban lookin smokin….as per usual…Best New Artist is….Zac Brown Band!!!!! Way to go guys!!! This is AMAZING!!! Country Music is representing!!!
- Miley Cyrus….that’s all I have to say about that….Black Eyed Peas are performing…gotta love a song that you can’t even hear all the words cuz half the words are bleeped out…What is up with the metal leotards??? I’m hurting just looking at them.
- Lady Antebellum singing “Need You Now”…they sound great! Great stage set-up…look good…Way to go Lady A!!! congrats!
- Best Comedic Album goes to Stephen Colbert..I think he’s hysterical…
- Kings of Leon takes Record of the Year! Sorry T-Swizzle…So amazing for them…That must feel fantastic…Beat out the biggest performers of all time…Way to represent Nashville!

- Justin Beiber and Kesha….I am obviously so out of it….
- Musicians shouldn’t read prompters…it never really quite works out….Green Day takes the Grammy
- Chris O’Donnell is smokin and introduces Zac Brown Band and Leon Russel
- Zac Brown Band is tearin it up!!!! Sound amazing! Earning some major respect in that room, that’s for sure. ZBB gonna set that guitar on fire!!! hot dayum!!!!
- Ryan Seacrest introduces Taylor Swift…and everything he said was true…so back off people….Singing her song of the Valentine’s Day soundtrack…busting out a Stevie Nicks classic…and then Stevie singing “You Belong With Me”…like…um…hippyfied or something…in my head i’m singing “Hey hey we’re the monkeys…”
- Michael Jackson Tribute featuring Carrie Underwood, Usher, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, and Smokey Robinson….Carrie Looks STUNNING and sounds great! This is beautiful…touching…lovely…Did you remember your 3D Glasses? Rhianna, Beyonce, and the rest of the audience is totally rocking them out…This is making me wanna go see This Is It…again…
- Michael Jackson’s kids receiving MJ’s Lifetime Acheivement Award…Paris so so beautiful…
- Bon Jovi with their first Grammy performance….Geez…LOVE HIM!!! Jennifer Nettles joins JBJ on stage for “Who Says You Can’t Go Home”
- woot woot!!! “Livin on a Prayer”…I can feel the wind brush through my hair as I skate around the rink…

Congrats to ZZB, they were thrilled to be the Best New Artist in country. I had not heard of the others except Lady A. I could not understand much of what Pink was singing, was that english? Who is Lady Gaga?
those black eyed peas sounded pretty bad to me. Loving Lady A, tho they don’t really sound perfect vocally either
Good thing I’m not the only one who thought that. I thought Lady A was pretty off, and they’re usually good live. Peas weren’t good either…how are they a Grammy winning group??
Taylor Swift was sharp in her blue gown but looked a little nervous on the stage accepting her first Grammy. She was my pick for country album of the year also. Looks like her mom was sitting next to her. Congrats for TS. Wonder how can I get her autograph?
Oh Taylor, please stop the “surprise” act. It’s getting very OLD. I thought Lady A sounded okay. Congrats to the Zac Brown Band. How cool that Keith could present the award to them as they presented to him at the AMA’s.

This Taylor Swift performance is actually really boring…Stevie Nicks is a legend, why is she embarassing herself with this little girl? I think taylor is usually really adorable and good…but she tried too hard this time,
I really though Keith should have won country album and Taylor needs to stop the whole “omg they really like me?” act.
Taylor and Stevie Nicks performance seemed a bit toned down but I liked it.

I will put any country act up against diva Beyonce, Pink’s high wire act and Green Day not singing their own song-not really. I get the colabos but why sooo many??
Taylor was off key as usual. She can not perform Live! I have seen her do this
one too many times. She is a wonderful songwriter, but not singer.
Jennifer Nettles looked stunning on the red carpet. Love her! Loved her outfit with Bon Jovi too and good performance.
Taylor needs to stop performing on awards shows. Glad she isn’t sweeping the grammys.
Lady A looked great but could have sounded better. They are truly becoming a great group to watch. They will improve with time!!

This is actually the first time in a long time I could tolerate watching the Grammy’s except for the rap crap. Jennifer Nettles need to leave the stage when Bon Jovi sang Livin on a Prayer; it i s NOT her song..she just needs the limelight…Taylor stinks no matter how you look at it…and yes I agree; cut the “Who Me?” act…And I was so thrilled she did not sweep the awards. I too agree; she is a vocal nightmare…I hope we can finally get past her & focus on someone who can truly sing like Miranda, or Carrie.
You asked on Twitter for us to give our thoughts on Taylor’s performance..Well it stunk…her voice is taxing to say the least…and to put her w/icon Stevie Nicks is an insult to music.
