In a recent interview with Guideposts Gary LeVox, of Rascal Flatts, opened up about his first job. It’s not the type of job one would normally think of when asking someone famous what they first job was. Waiter, valet parker and bartender pop into my head. But Gary had a very special job that he says helped him realize it “takes a leap of faith to get where you’re supposed to be”.
Gary worked training the developmentally disabled to work and live independently in his home state of Ohio. He tells stories about his clients and how they helped him realize how important his music dream was and how it was their stories who ultimately helped him make the decision to move to Nashville.
It is a very uplifting interview that takes you back to the days where Jay and Gary were performing on the weekends in Printers Alley and how they stumbled upon Joe Don one night before a gig. A must read for every Rascal Flatts fan (especially you Gary Girls out there) Click Here to Read the full article.

Thanks for this info! I love Rascal Flatts, but never knew this stuff! Can’t wait to see the Flatts on Feb 26!
This is why I love to hear Rascal Flatts. This is why there music is so meaningful. No matter how many awards they win or don’t win they will always be the best group to listen too. That is why I have all their cd’s.
