Now a toddling toddler, Dierks Bentley says his baby girl Evie is the apple of his eye.

“I took a picture of her today and she’s wearing a Station Inn t-shirt and holding a hockey stick, and those are two things that pretty much would sum up who I am. I love acoustic music, that’s where I got my start, and I’m crazy about playing hockey!”

Since Dierks is such a HUGE hockey fan, would Dierks love to see his daughter Evie pull a Carrie Underwood and marry a hockey player?

Uh, not the hockey players I know!,” says Dierks. “They’re pretty crazy guys! But we’ll see. I haven’t even thought about it … the idea of her marrying anybody at this point kind of freaks me out!”

I would say Dierks can calm down a bit. He certainly has a while before he has to worry about Evie breakin hearts. But I’m sure Dierks is feeling the butterflies with the Grammy’s just around the corner and his nomination for “Beautiful World.”
