OMG…these MORONS!!!!!! YuCK@!!! Iw ill be sure to tell my radio station not to play these jokers!!! Chris and Preston are a bunch of fakers..you seed to ask them about calling thier less attractive fans DUCKS. Seriously…ask them abou thow they tell the band “dont feed the ducks”

  2. CalamityAnnie says:

OMG – are you still stuck on the ducks? Well if it quacks like a duck then I guess it is a duck. And, when the song climbs the charts, your telling your station not to play the song won’t do a bit of good. It’s America – you have the right to your opinion and they have the right to work hard and be rewarded for all the hard work they do. God Bless America.

MONEY can LAUNCH anything…Even if it is CRAP….This is just more CRAP out of the powers that be on Music Row. Honestly….how do you think Taylor Swift was launched…With millions of her Daddy’s money. Radio placement, tours, sold out shows…All bought early in her career until all those public that follow trends turned it into a snowball that couldnt be stopped.

I don’t think and hope these idiots have the chance Taylor Swift does in the long run, because Taylor IS likeable. Let’s hope the buying public doesn’t buy into this act.

  4. CalamityAnnie says:

Aren’t you glad that it does not take money to crap all over somebody’s talent, hard work and opinion on the Internet? I know all about the artists with money being launched and the boys have not bought their way into the industry but rather earned it through long hard hours on the road and hundreds of shows. How many shows have you performed Charles and how many miles does your bus have on it -oh, wait – you don’t have a bus!!! Silly me!

  5. Charles Murphy says:

    Calamity Annie,

Not sure if you will get this but since the late 80s/early 90s, I have probably worked/performed on anywhere from 3,000-5,000 shows…with somewhere between 1,000 to 2,000 of those being done in travelling by bus. And NO…I don’t own a bus…that would be throwing money away. One should always lease.

The way things are looking for Stroudavarious Records, the No Class LoCash train will hopefully be knocked off the tracks permanently before the summer.

That is an awful lot of work not to be recognized :) Just saying.

  7. Charles Murphy says:

who said I needed to be recognized?? I didn’t say I was an “artist.” There are SO many other aspects to a touring organization than what you see on stage.

  8. JoAnne says:

Chris and Preston play up to 250 dates per year, EVERY year. They are clearly hard working entertainers and they are tremendously respectful with their fans and the media. They each have a keen sense of humor but would never want to offend. Some things are done in hunor and should be taken as such. Their show is dynamic and fun and combines elements from a variety of genres. More and more fans will discover what their HUGE existing fan base already knows … these guys are an entertainment force to be reckoned with.

  9. Lee says:

I think there is some confusion. “Duck” is old news and boy, did you misunderstand. Duck was a nickname for a former band member, often teased onstage and off in good fun. Someone wasn’t paying attention. Perhaps the alcohol was flowing most offstage, like in the audience.
