Lady Antebellum is giving fans the chance to listen to their soon-t0-be released album, Need You Now, for free before you can buy it. I have a feeling this BRILLIANT marketing strategy will leave fans wanting more, and send them running to their local stores on Tuesday to get a copy of their very own.
You can hear it on their MYSPACE or iTunes.

Not quite as impressed with this album as I thought I would be. A few good songs, but not the same caliber as their first album.
I was expecting so much more from this album; I loved both “Need You Now” and “American Honey.” The songs on the album are catchy, but incredibly fotgettable. It also seemed like their signature harmonies were not an assest on this album- more like an afterthought. This group has so much energy and passion- none of came through, even on the love songs. Hilary and Charels are bandmates, but I find it a little odd why they didn’t pick another artist to sing with them. Because we know they have a bussiness relationship and not a romantic one, this comes off even worse to the listener as just kind of weird and somewhat creepy. It’s like singing love songs with your brother or sister. It’s dissapointing that this album is such a let-down; they have so much potential and talent, but this is a bland, lifeless second effort.
I think it’s got some great songs! Need Your Now, Ready to Love Again, Hello World, Perfect Day are my favorites.
I’m saying this as someone who LOVED the first album: This is not as good as I had hoped it would be. As such a big fan of Lady Antebellum, I actually feel a little crushed by it. The best songs are Need You Now, Perfect Day, Stars Tonight and Something ‘Bout A Woman. But there is a worst list and these songs are American Honey, Hello World (Biggest Yawn!), When You Got A Good Thing, If I Knew Then and Ready To Love Again. These songs are mind numblingly dull and forgettable. There are a couple I can’t quite make my mind up on. Let’s say I’m indifferent. These are Our Kind Of Love and Love This Pain. In my opinion, if you take out the worst ones and leave the rest, you’ll have a fairly good Lady Antebellum album, but not as good as the first one.
