Country Music Tattle Tale caught up with Bucky Covington at the Country Weekly 15th Anniversary Party last night and asked him what he thinks about all of the changes happening at American Idol. Bucky has a ton of great ideas for the show and I think you will be surprised to hear who he thinks should take Simon Cowell’s place when he leaves.
Season nine of “American Idol” began last night with Boston auditions. One contestant tried to do his best Johnny Cash, but his “Ring of Fire” was put out by the judges. Another guy said his style is a blend of Chris Brown and the Eagles. Simon Cowell said he maybe he sounded like one eagle, one large bird, but certainly not like the group. Tonight, we’ll see the auditions that were held in Atlanta.
