The Dixie Chicks do have new music available today. They have one song as part of a charity compilation soundtrack album inspired by the HBO documentary that followed Barack Obama’s campaign. It’s called “By The People: The Election Of Barack Obama.”
Others on the album are Tim McGraw, Sheryl Crow, Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Ben Harper and more. Money raised goes to the United Way to support Gulf Coast rebuilding in conjunction with the non-profit Enterprise Community Partners. The album is digital and only available on iTunes.

Dang it…you got me all excited…and then I realized that the Dixie Chicks song wasn’t new….it was on their last cd. Kind of misleading….
