I guess the economy is really hitting a new low with people breaking into and stealing things that simply don’t belong to them. First the Charlie Daniels Band Museum in Nashville was hit with more than $200 being stole from a cash register and now a storage unit in Dallas was hit hard.
On Christmas Eve burglars broke into Uncle Bob’s Self Storage in Dallas and took more than 60 celebrity-autographed guitars that were to benefit Friends of Purtis Creek State Park.
“Taylor Swift, Trace Adkins, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley,” Brian Hughes ticked off the names of the stars who had signed his guitars. “Everyone was willing to help; the retailers where I got the guitars and all the artists were willing to sign.” “The guitars are one of the main sources of income for the Friends of the Park,” he said. “There’s a lot of equipment that we have here that was funded by the Friends.”
Now a guitar autographed by members of the band Rascal Flatts is all that’s left. Hughes had it at his home when the storage unit was picked clean.

That’s terrible!! Some peole just don’t care about anyone but themselves. I have been both homeless and unemployed and I lived in my car and I never,never even thought about taking anything that didn’t belong to me. For some people it doesn’t matter that maybe things are intended for someone a lot worse offthen they are. Who ever took those guitars probably took them so they could support some kind of habit ,not to buy food to eat.
