Well my favorite christmas memory was when i was 7 we had no presents under the tree and me and my brothers were so sad , cause we just knew there would no christmas for us and my parents had taken to my grandmothers house and ask her to babyset .. and they left …. then later that night they came and got us and when we got home we ate and went up stairs to our rooms and there on our beds not even wrapped was so many brand new toys and clothes for me and my brothers we yelled and jumped up and down we were so happy !! i knew my dad had worked so very hard for us to have that special christmas it is one me and my brothers always talk about .and now that we are grown and have kids of our own we know the hardships sometimes parents go through to make there kids happy and to see those tears of joy are awesome .
I think my favorite christmas memory was in 1983. My mom got really sick with a hugh blood clot in her lower backand had to have major 3 major surgeries. After she was released from the hospital, she had to go to a nursing home and we didn’t know when she would get to come home. Then in october she had to go back in for more surgeryand back to the nursing home. Finally 4 days before Christmas we got a call saying thatshe could come homebut she had very limited movement in her legs.It didn’t matter to us ,we were just happy to be together for Christmas. And that is my favorite Christmas memory.
My favorite memory would be Christmas 2001. My husband was activated after 9/11 and deployed to a training site with no plans to return for more than a year in November. On 12/23, his commander released the team to visit their families for 2 days and he was able to come home for Christmas… he was later one of the first Spec. Forces soldiers killed in combat, so this turned out to be our first and last Christmas together since our marriage.
My favorite Christams memory is when my brother opened up a present and saw a new violin case! He was so happy! When my parents said open it I think he might of had some solids in his pants! LOL!

My favorite Christmas memories are any and all before 2003. That’s the year my mom died
I miss her terribly and while Christmas is still fun and I still celebrate the true reason for the season, it’s just not the same without my mom. Nothing is the same, but it’s especially noticeable at this time of year. She always made sure we had the best Christmas. Not that presents are what it’s all about, but even when my parents really couldn’t afford it, we had presents galore under the tree. Lots of yummy Christmas treats and a delicious Christmas dinner and plenty of family fun and togetherness. Sadly, we don’t have that anymore. We all call eachother (and txt our sister who is deaf), but I know my mom would have insisted we all actually get together. She was just the best and is forever loved and missed! LOVE YOU, MOM!
My favorite memory of Christmas is at my grandma’s when I was a kid—the smells of cooking and baking in the air, the twinkling bubble lights on the tree, the gaily wrapped presents, the (at the top of his lungs) yell of my Uncle Jerry when he came in the door “YAAAAA HOOO!!”……….From the warmth of the big old house you could look out the frosty picture window and see the skaters under the sparkling lights on the ice rink ~~~laughing and playing ~~~in the swirling and whirling falling snow. There was a special magic in the air.
My favorite christmas memories are having prank wars with my cousins.
ONE OF MY MOST MEMERABALE CHRISTMAS MEMORIES ,WAS WHEN MY MOM WAS WORKING AND SHE GOT SICK RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS.SHE HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL AND WAS NOT WITH US FOR CHRISTMAS DAY.WE HAD TO GO TO MY DADS HOME.I WAS SO VERY SAD.HIS CHILDREN HAD GIFTS AND PRESENTS GALORE..I WAS SO VERY SELFISH..I WAS SO MAD AT THE WORLD AT THE TIME.I HATED CHRISTMAS THAT YEAR. I WAS ABOUT 10 OR SO.I REALLY MISSED OUT ON WHAT THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS WAS ALL ABOUT..I TOLD MY MOTHER I HATED HER, FOR GETTING SICK..WOW! WHAT A BAD KID…WHEN SHE GOT OUT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL MANY DAYS LATER, WE HAD THE GIFTS AND PRESENTS WE HADNT RECIEVED.BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?.IT DID NOT MEAN THE SAME ANY MORE.I WAS JUST HAPPY TO HAVE MY MOTHER HOME, ALIVE, FEEL HER LOVE, GET HER HUGS, THAT IS WHAT I WAS MISSING ALL OF THE TIME.AND NOW I LOVE ALL, AND SHARE, AND GIVE ,TO WHOM I AM BLESSED TO BE TOUCHED BY.MERRY CHRISTMAS..TERESA
They year that I brought my first son home (he was a NON-sleeping baby)… he slept a full 8 hours in a row on Christmas. What a wonderful present that was ~ as he normally didn’t sleep more than 15 minutes at a time.
Any Christmas with my mom. This will be our first without her.
My Fave Christmas memory was when i was like 9 or 10yrs old and me and my older bro got a bike, but mine was awesome, it had a radio hooked on it between the handle bars i jammed to that thing all day and every day while riding my bike lol..I enjoyed riding my bike with my friends and riding them in my small town and staying out goofing off till it was time to go home lol..So, have a Merry Christmas everyone on this site..:)
Christmas dinner with friends and family. It was the only time of year we all got together so it was a very special time. We took lots of pictures and enjoyed all the wonderful food. Opened all our presents on Christmas Eve and Sunday morning we had filled stockings. It was a very magical time. I still try to carry on that tradition so the children will have wonderful memories of Christmas.
Every Christmas Eve my parents would let my brother and me choose one present to open. We learned that the best present was the one in the anall package. Christmas morning Mom would have breakfast cooked and we would eat before we opened gifts. Santa would always leave a family gift for us like a board game or movie. Something we could do as a family and we would play that game first. Then off to Grandmas house. Christmas is being with family. Thank you Mom and Dad for raising us to be a close family!
My favorite memory was when I was 10. I wanted to stay up and see Santa so I put a babydoll as big as me in my bed so my parents would think it was me. Then I hid in the living room closet. I actually fell asleep. My dad knew I was in there, so he made sure nothing was under the tree for me Christmas morning. I was so mad. Mad that I fell asleep and that I missed Santa. I was suppose to get a new guitar and a black onyx ring. My father told me if I went to bed early Christmas night that Santa might possibly see his way to come back by on his way back to the North Pole. Needless to say I was in the bed early, when I awoke the next morning sure enough Santa had stopped and left my shiny new guitar and ring. I pormised I would never ever sneak again. A few years later our house burnt up but that memory will forever be in my heart.
