Carrie Underwood is the latest recipient of the Nashville Symphony’s Harmony Award. During the annual Symphony Ball on December 12th at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in downtown Nashville, Carrie accepted the award which goes to individuals who exemplify the connections between the diverse music of the city and have contributed to the development and appreciation of music culture.
I feel like I’m getting more involved here in Nashville. This is my community. I’m going to be here for a very long time, if not for the rest of my life, and I love it here, so it’s nice to feel like I’m part of this town.”
Carrie also performed a small set which included her current single, “Temporary Home.”
