I was sitting here surfing YouTube and trying to relax when I suddenly became angry with Rascal Flatts. They wimped out on fans with the “Summer Nights” video only making a cameo appearance and now word on the street is there will be no video for their new single “Why”.
WHY would they do that …. or I guess the question is WHY wouldn’t they make a video for WHY??????
Come on guys, you know I love you (and am so happy with you for finally releasing new tour dates) BUT WHY?

This could also be a problem of Lyric Street though…I’m sure the guys dont have a ton of control over that type of thing.
There is no regular video for”Why” because what video there is ,is being used to raise awareness about suicide, especially among teens and young adults. I have known 2 people who have killed themselves and there was no clues orwarning beforehand.
I wanna make a call to Shawn Silva and tell him to call the Flats (or Lyric Street). He is an AMAZING producer. He would be able to make a beautiful, meaningful work of art out of a song with such deep meaning. He would do a fantastic job raising awareness to this subject.
Too bad he doesnt have a Twitter! LOL. The guys couldn’t do a “Summer Nights” video because they were touring; it isn’t like they’ve neglected making good ones or something (: They will come out with something awesome soon
