After winning his first American Music Award for Best Male Country Artist, according to OK Magazine, Keith Urban professed that winning that night marked another first for him as well…
I’ve never won anything with Nic sitting in the audience before,” he explained backstage. “I won Entertainer of the Year in 2005 and she wasn’t able to be there. So I had to call her, and it was beautiful to have her in front. She’s a huge inspiration for everything I do.”
They also asked Keith about him and Nicole possibly singing together…After all, Nicole Kidman has belted out some music of her won in Moulin Rouge and her new musical Nine…
“I don’t think it’s ever out of the question,” he confessed. “I don’t know. We sort of do our own things professionally. But I love singing with her at home. It’s quite nice.”
He’s also quite proud of daughter, Sunday Rose’s early musical promise…
She’s got some pipes!” the proud pop said of his 1-year-old girl. “They’re loud, you know! I think so. I think she sounds quite musical. Sit her at the piano and play and we mash the keys together.”
Now, take from this what you will…but Nicole has often said that she has NO plans to sing with country crooner hubby publicly. She plans on letting him do what he does best. Although, I think the mental picture of Sunday sitting on her proud-daddy’s lab while belting out some family favorites is adorable.

Only if he can be in her movies. It might make them more bearable.
Oh please…she can’t sing any better than she can act!
I can not get over how mean people can be. Is it jealosy?? They are two nice people.
I am a huge Keith fan and I know he LOVES Nicole. I’m so glad that she brought happiness & joy into his life as well as little Sunday Rose but I truly hope Nicole doesn’t do a duet with Keith. His musical talent is fine as is. She enjoys her profession & he enjoys his and that’s how it should stay. Every blessing & grace to them.
Well said and I agree Joy.
