Seriously, I feel like all I have written about today is Taylor Swift. Please tell me if I have Taylor Swifted you all out. There just seems to be so much about her in the news these days. Our reigning Entertainer of the Year certainly shows not signs of slowing down.
Looks like the boss over at ‘The Vampire Diaries’ is dying to have her guest star on the hit show.
Developer Kevin Williamson said: “I’m desperate to have Taylor come play a vampire. Wouldn’t she make an amazing Kristen Dunst circa ‘Interview with the Vampire’ type? I cannot tell you how hard I’m trying to get her – I would kill to have her on the show.”

I am soooo overrr Taylor. I miss the days when she opened for Rascal Flatts. She was soooo much better back then. So much more of a real person. I wonder how her music is going to change as she enters her 20s. Is her audience still going to be teenage girls. I wonder how that is going to work. Sometimes I think she’ll be around forever. Then other days, I wonder if she will be able to change and grow as she gets older. We’ll see…
Tired of hearing about Taylor. In my opinion I think she is going to fade into the teeny boper world. When she starts fading it’s going to go fast. Would love to hear more about the Carter Twins and Billy Gilman though!

I am sooooooo sick of hearing about Taylor Swift when there are numerous artists much more talented than she is. I am hoping she goes into movies and leaves the country music scene to the real talented artists like LBT , Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, etc, etc. Enough of Taylor Swift!
Sick of her too. Overexposed, overplayed, overrated. I was disappointed to see her use the whole Kanye thing on Saturday night live. She had expressed in multiple interviews she didnt want to talk about it anymore, even stopped an interview (after she was terribly late) yet she uses it on SNL?! I dont think she has lasting power, her songs dont strick me as the type of songs we’ll be listening to in 5-10 years.
Taylor is extremely important in today’s music world. How long that will last is anyone’s guess, it is mostly up to her and from what I know and hear of her, she is completely dedicated to continuing to write her life in song. Since she will not be a girl forever, and is actually a young woman now and has experienced a lot of hurt from Country Radio and people in music lately, I suspect she is maturing much more rapidly than is really good for her. But she is tough and she knows who she is and what she wants to do, so hopefully she will be able to take it all and write with the same freedom and joy of music that she always has. Never too much Taylor, she is alive, vibrant and has rare talent that few others are blessed with.
