Luke Bryan’s current single off his sophmore album Doin My Thing is “Do I.”  This is an AMAZING song that really hits home for everybody (if it doesn’t…just wait a while…it will).  Anyhow, it’s currently at #3 and we KNOW this can be Luke’s very first #1.  So call your local radio stations and request request request!!!

The Tennessean has a fantastic article about the writing process for Luke and Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley. 

It was pretty amazing to watch it come together,” he said. “When the three of us started working on it, it took on a whole new meaning. It’s a lot of fun to have success with two good guys like Charles and Dave.”

“Do I” is teetering on the edge of full-blown success, with just 1 spot in between where it is at #3 and where it should be at #1.

When we wrote it we thought it was single, but I don’t think we ever thought our songs would be at No. 2 and No. 3,” Bryan said. “But it feels great. I don’t go into singles thinking, ‘Oh we’re going to get a No. 1,’ but to be right there is very exciting for me.”

Luke also tells The Tennessean that hit singles aren’t the only thing Luke’s workin on. He and his wife, Caroline, are hoping to make their family of 3 a little bigger. The couple is currently workin on baby #2.

We want a big ol’ family,” says the singer, “and big Christmases and big Thanksgivings.”
