You can hear the pain and anger in Carrie Underwood’s voice when she says she didn’t try to take Taylor Swift’s moment at the end of last week’s CMA awards. In a conference call yesterday for her December 7 holiday special on Fox, Carrie was asked to respond to accusations she interrupted Brad Paisley at the end of the CMAs to turn the spotlight away from Taylor. Carrie says her “brain does not work that way. And, it was really, really hurtful to see such a great night and such a great moment be turned into trash.” She says the insinuation makes her sad.

I’m not a Carrie fan by any means but its true. The media/press seemed to have totally fabricated and made something out of nothing with this one.
i can see where it can be hurtful when the media lies and tries to makes a person look bad, i hate it when the media always puts girl against girl…as if were all catty..this was a great night with great performers and great hosts…shes right they take something and spoil the moment. taylor and carrie are close friends she was rooting for her the whole time. why didnt they mention that carrie hugged her and yelled “whoa”..she was happy for her..they like and respect each other they both are classy girls…i dont believe for one secons carrie was taking taylor’s moment !!
kellie, taylor, carrie, miranda, are really good friends, they even go to each other ‘s concerts and they even buy each other’s album’s, i think the media is running wild with a story that doesnt exist and are exagerating something so small into something so big, and its not neccessary. they support each other and cheer each other on. i have heard carrie say many times that girls have to stick together especially in this genre because men dominate…carrie was cheering for taylor and i know she is happy and proud of her…especially since they are friends!..they are nice girls they dont fight with each other like the pop girls!
Carrie is not friends with Taylor and when she was asked about that she made a point of saying she hadn’t seen Taylor since the ACM awards back in April. Carrie was definitely annoyed with all the Taylor stuff. I was watching Carrie and noticed it. I don’t blame Carrie because Taylor can’t sing her way out of a paper bag. Still, it’s funny that Carrie is finding herself in the same situation that Faith Hill was in when she was accused of dissing Carrie during an award show.
