Taylor Swift says it’s not difficult to stay true to herself. She tells InStyle magazine she doesn’t “ever feel misunderstood.” And, she says she doesn’t feel as if she needs “to make some giant statement and start wearing a completely different new wardrobe for the next project or start speaking in a different way or writing songs in a different way.” Taylor says “when you start over thinking that stuff with your career, you stop being who you are and start being who you think you should be.” She says that’s “very dangerous territory” so she’ll just continue to be who she is.
