Chuck Wicks played hero this weekend, swooping-in and rescuing the damsel in distress…well, her fans anyway.  Julianne Hough was supposed to play the 22nd Annual Pineapple Festival at Jensen Beach this weekend.  25,000 adoring fans packed-in only to discovery Julianne was too sick to play.

Julianne took to her Twitter to announce her illness…

“Hey everyone, whoever is going to the show tonight I want to apologize. I’m extremely sick and can’t make it. But you won’t be disappointed with who’s filling in.”

But, have no fear…Chuck Wick’s was near…He hopped on the interstate and drove-up to perform and save the day.

I’m about the closest person you can get to Julianne,” Wicks said. “I probably know all of her jokes and can sing all of her songs.”
