Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift are NOT country! (Most country artists on radio these days are not country). I did country radio as a DJ for 30 years. I quit in 2008 because I could not stand what I was playing. What is wrong with Country Music sounding country? Carrie Underwood…Taylor Swift….GET REAL! That is junk, not country.

Carry Underwood and Taylor are pop singers who’s lyrics are sang over country like musical accompaniments. To say that Carry “American Idol” Underwood is real country is like saying Taco Bell is authentic mexican food.
