Taylor Swift didn’t show off her dancing skills at last night’s “Dancing With the Stars.” But, it looked like she was having a good time. Almost as soon as the show began, hosts Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris threw it her way. Taylor played her acoustic guitar and sang her new single, “Jump, Then Fall,” off “Fearless Platinum.” As she sang, two dancers did a sexy, but playful dance. Taylor was back at the mid-point to sing “Love Story” without her guitar. The dance floor filled with several couples who took their cue from the video for “Love Story.” There were ribbons in the women’s hair and the couples did a ballroom-type dance.

I didn’t think her performance was that good! Thank goodness for her back up singer and band. Her voice is so weak. But I’m sure her fans thought it was great.
I will admit to being a VERY long time DWTS freak, I’ve seen every episode beginning way back in Season 3! Honestly, I LOVE watching the Professionals dancing on the Results night shows more than the actual scheduled performers! Quite a bit of the time, the actual performance isn’t as good as what is heard on CD/radio, but the professionals routines really do MAKE the performance! And I always like to see the performers who stand there staring at the dancers and say, “wow!” No, “Love Story” may not have been the most well performed song, but the dancing was AMAZING! and really fit the song! And the standing ovation at the end of “Love Story,” I couldn’t tell if it was for the dancers or the singer!
Wow, I feel sorry for Taylor. She seems like such a sweet, humble girl; does anyone have the heart to tell her she can’t really sing?
