When I heard the song “Fight Like a Girl” I just kept thinking to myself…who are these girls? They have a unique sound that I really enjoyed. I found myself getting excited that we might finally get some real girl power back into country music!
Bomshel‘s debut album “Fight Like a Girl” is in stores today! Although I have not heard the entire album, the songs that I have heard hit the heart and drum up emotion.

This is a great song from two talented gals! I saw them at Bob Kingsley’s New Music Showcase in Nashville during CMA Fest last June – the song is about a best friend of one of the girls who had cancer – strong song – strong message. Worth the money – the gals are good.

I love these girls!!! I bought their CD and have not stopped listening to it! It’s amazing! I have met them twice and they are the sweetest girls around! The best part was when I met them the 2nd time a couple weeks ago they totally remembered me from meeting them this past June. I was shocked! Go buy their CD soon! I live in Baltimore, anything but a country music place. They did not have the CD at Walmart! I don’t understand how they can be doing a Walmart tour and not have it at Walmart! Anyway, I was disappointed. Walmart is supposed to have a bonus track… I know I could get it from iTunes, but with artists I really like, I try to buy the CD. Anyway, I just saw Bomshel open for Phil Vassar, and they were great! I’m looking forward to seeing them again!

This CD rocks!! I love it!
I just got the CD last night, and it is great! My recommendation is to buy the bonus track version from Walmart for the song “Slowdown.” They played it in concert a couple of weeks ago, and it was one of my favorites. If you’ve seen them and don’t recognize the song title, it’s the song that says “I want to go faster, baby, faster, baby…” Anyway, it’s a great song, and I’m surprised it is only being released as a bonus track!
