The LoCash Cowboys released their new EP – “This is How We Do It” as a prelude to their upcoming CD that should hit the store shelves sometime after the first of the year. I’ve kept up on their Facebook, Twitter and MySpace pages and from what I have seen from the feedback from their fans, not only is the EP “tease” a huge success I am guessing that the CD release will be an outstanding success as well. There were three songs on the EP and, like all the fans, I love them all! They asked for our feedback on our favorite – I don’t know what the outcome was but a common thread ran through the responses – “they are all good!!”
“You Got Me” is an upbeat and melodious tune about being in love with someone and how they “got me”. It starts out quick tempo with the instrumentals leading the beat throughout the song – there is a lot of drum action that makes you want to tap your feet throughout the entire song. It is a happy tune with lifting bars and choruses about being in love and feeling so good about it. The song talks about feeling good, living right, laughing all day, “looking at you” and loving all night. There is nothing better than an uplifting, happy love song that brings a smile to your face when remembering past loves or envisioning and dreaming of new ones!
“Fresh Off the Farm” starts off with a rock beat and goes into a country beat with Preston’s deeper country-cute voice singing about pigtails, “Daisy Dukes”, long legs and cowboy boots with Chris breaking in with perfect harmony. The song is uplifting with quick beats and verses about everything having to do with being “fresh off the farm”. The incredible talent of this duo is showcased with their unique way of being able to sing different chords opposite each other and bringing the chords into the harmony they are famous for at the end of the chord. The instrumentals are an important part of this song as the band showcases their incredible talents as well. This is a happy uplifting “get up off your butt” and dance song!!
“Right Here in Front of You” is a soft love ballad about someone not being able to find true love or a prince charming because they are not looking in the right place. The song has a beautiful lilting melody and a soft instrumental background with gentle background vocals and perfect harmony. This is the type of song that pleasantly stays with the listener all day after hearing it – it’s just that kind of melody! The main verses of this song is about a lady looking for love and the chorus is about the young man saying he is the one “right here in front of you” and will make the ladies wish they were the ones he was right there in front of!
The EP is available at Amazon, ITunes, Zune and many other sites for downloading and the price is extremely reasonable for all three or they are available for purchase individually and are must-haves for old and new fans of the LoCash Cowboys.

PLEASE!!! This EP sucks and you know what…I would rather hear dogs howl then these guys. I wonder when their 15 mins of shame will be over….I have set my timer.
Isn’t there anyone else yoou can talk about? I just saw these guys this weekend and OMG…What a bunch of fakers. The two lead jokers where DRUNK onstage..forgot words to their songs and did a ton of covers. YUCK YUCK YUCK! They are good for a luagh or two. It is nice to see them sing a song, shake thier butts and then do shots. WOW!!! JOKE!!! JOKE!!! JOKE!!!!
Thank heavens I live in the land of the free….
WHAT!!! OMG these guys are AWESOME!
They seem like they try a little too hard. The one guy with the do-rag has to lose that. It’s a little D-Bag.
I think they are great! I know them personally. And one from reading comments from Countrygirl… you are a joke young lady. You cant knock talent unless you are jealous. Its ok, that you are over weight!!!lol The boys sing to everyone. And if your husband, who if he had any mind at all, worked for the Rascal Flatts, he would know that they are a class act, and would never say anything about another artist! Nashville is a small town. THey are to smart for that, unlike you and your sweep the stage and scrape the gum of Joe’s shoe husband. To think I fight for people like you who want to start trouble and live a life of drama. People can like who they like, it is the land of the free. You will run into me soon, and I would love to know your husbands name, cause I will be backstage with Joe next week, and I cant wait to ask him some questionswith Joe right there…lol Joe love those guys! Tough guy! ha. So anyway on with your bad talking about people, you really must hate Locash and think they are not talented since you have been to 15 states to see them!lol wtf? You are the Joke. Karma, will come back at you for talking bad about people, and look in the mirror, it might have already!
Just so you all know the Country Girl who posted here is not me……
I love Chris and Preston and can’t wait for LoCash to prove a lot of the haters wrong.
