Jennette McCurdy “I Can’t Make You Love Me”

We have been telling you that Jennette McCurdy really is going country. Although we haven’t heard much of her own music yet, the covers that she is posting on her YouTube channel have been fantastic!

Here is Jennette covering Bonnie Raitt’s song “I Can’t Make You Love Me”.

What do you think?  Is there room for another young blond in country music?

A special thanks to Steph for emailing us the video.

Can’t stand her character on iCarly…don’t let my kids watch the show because of her. Refuse to support her country music career. I just don’t like her and never will.

You can say what you want, but we think Jennette has an awesome country music voice and she has talent. She has received rave reviews from serious talent assessors in the industry. Some people are just ridiculous in holding a grudge,

Her character on iCarly is awesome. And just because her character on that show isn’t this goody good person like Hannah Montana doesn’t mean you should hate her in real life. And on top of that, just because she’s an actor, doesn’t mean she can’t sing, because she proves that she can right here. Also, it’s rude and hypocritical when people judge actors who sing, but never say anything about singers who act. On the other hand, Jennette is quite talented and loves to share that talent. She’s doing what she loves to do and I’m proud of her. She’s no Taylor Swift, as some might think, she’s her own self. I think it’s really great that she has signed onto a great label that isn’t part of Nickelodeon or even Disney as many teen actors would, no offense. There is room for her of course. It doesn’t matter if you’re blond or brunnette or a red-head. :)
