Turnabout is fair play, it seems.

About a month after Kanye West snatched a microphone from Taylor Swift at the VMAs, the mike has been snatched from his hand, but good. The rapper was supposed to be launching a huge tour with Lady Gaga starting next month. But now the tour is off. Word of the cancellation comes from promoter Live Nation, which gave no reason for pulling the plug on ticket sales and there’s been no comment from either artist.

However, Kanye’s popularity took a major hit after he rudely interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech at the awards show, and not even a tearful appearance on the Jay Leno show a few days later softened the criticism. The denunciation extended all the way to the White House, where President Obama called him “a jackass” for his rudeness.  FYI – Barack Obama’s daughters are big Taylor Swift fans!
