Gretchen Wilson Launches Redneck Records

Gretchen Wilson has started her own label. Redneck Records, based out of Lebanon, Tn will release Gretchen’s newest single “Work Hard, Play Harder” on October 26th with a video to follow and Gretchen’s new Album I Got Your Country Right Here coming in early 2010.

Gretchen Wilson will oversee virtually all operations of the label as president. She had this to say about the label.

“My management and I looked at a lot of different options over the last couple of months, and starting Redneck Records made the most sense to continue the relationships I’ve built with radio, retail and the fans,” said Gretchen. “This is a really exciting time in my life, and I’m looking forward to everyone hearing my new music.”

For those who just can’t wait the video for her new single can be seen here. Let us know what you think.

I wish her the best, I respect Gretchen for the positive example she continues to set as a motivated, determined woman.
