Carrie Underwood’s “Cowboy Casanova” Video

Carrie Underwood’s newest single is “Cowboy Casanova.” Here is the video…What do you think?  For some reason I feel it’s a little “Nothin Better to Do” esque…

Didn’t like it at all. I love this song, but this video just didn’t cut it. It was a little like the Nothin Better To Do video. And Carrie just seemed awkward through the whole thing. She’s obviously not a dancer haha, so the choreographed moves didn’t fit her well. I dunno, the word awkward just keeps coming back to me haha.

Funny you mention LeeAnn’s video…a lot of Carrie fans have already mentioned that, and the video only surfaced a few hours ago. I can’t decide what I think about it; creative, but some of the movements seem a liitle awkward for Carrie. It is definatly different from anything she’s ever done single or video-wise; I have high expectations for the new album. A recent article mentioned Carrie co-wrote over half the songs on the album- should be interesting because it’s been two years since Carnival Ride.

I like the video and the clothes in the video! I think Carrie is branching out and I like it! Love the song, no matter what, so that’s all that counts!

I love the song and the video. I am happy that Carrie has started changing up her videos. The song rocks and is very appealing to my generation. Easy to dance to and is very catchy. My friends and I love it. I read the above article about TS and just have to mention that Carrie is very grounded and through all the fame, etc. has maintained her morals and deep faith. She also does a lot for charity. It is an honor to be a Carrie fan. She is a great role model. I don’t know much about TS but I do not like her music. It is too tween for me-I am a little older and it does not appeal to me.

The video is AMAZING! It is very creative and mysterious. I love the costumes and atmosphere, and I love Carrie’s dancing!
Sure I can see a tiny similarity to Leanne Rimes’ video, but it is very different in most ways. Carrie’s video is very much a 1920′s flapper type of mood, mixed in with Moulon Rouge. I love it!

    Carrie’s dancing is amazing too!

Carrie danced very well! You guys are way too critical! She is no Jullianne Hough, dancing wise, but she did very well for someone who is not a professional dancer.
She didn’t look awkward at all! She looked HOT, SMOKING HOT!

Loved, loved, loved the video. I agree with Cariie, creative and mysterious. What more could you ask for? It’s nice to see great art with great music and videos are supposed to fun… this was FUN.
