We were waiting to find out more information before we posted this but because our readers have filled our inbox we will go ahead and let you know what we know.
CMT Music and the Carter Twins have parted ways. CMT’s Jay Frank told Country Aircheck the split is “amicable” and the network will remain supportive of the duo. And though the act was CMT’s first foray into launching an artist, Frank says CMT is not opposed to signing further artists, though nothing is currently in the works.
Fans don’t worry….these guys aren’t done giving us great music. Zach Twittered this evening:

i’m starting to suspect lyric street records… CT met with disney a bit ago. lyric street is disney owned. it’s also home to rascal flatts, which is HUGE. so this is gonna be good for them! i’m excitedd! but i think it may put the album on hold again… :/ ohh well, i can waitt.
