Fans who bought a ticket for Lucinda Williams‘ concert Friday in Minneapolis wound up as her wedding guests. All 1,500 of them. Between her 90-minute concert and her encore, Lucinda got married on stage to her manager, Tom Overby.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune says the wedding was inspired by Hank Williams’ on-stage wedding. For Lucinda Williams’ ceremony, her father read a poem he’d written for her when she was 7. Then, the minister and the groom took the stage. Right after the vows, Lucindas’ encore included a song she adapted from lyrics Hank Williams wrote but never recorded called “I’m Happy I Found You.” The Star Tribune says she fought back tears as she sang.
