SERIOUSLY???????? No Rascal Flatts AGAIN! I’m not watching the show. Too much politics. Not what the fans want at all.
I can’t believe Jason Aldean wasn’t nominated for Male Vocalist…and Taylor was nominated for Entertainer of the Year…what is wrong with this world we live in?
Please tell me this isn’t the award show that “fans” will vote in ETOY? Interesting lineup for ETOY. While I believe Keith puts on a heck of a show, I believe that this is rightfully Brad Paisley’s year to win. He was had 10 plus consecutive number 1′s and has toured all but a 3 months in the past year.

I don’t get excited about these shows anymore! They don’t mean as much as they use too! So glad Keith Urban was nominated and I wish he could win EOTY cause he definitely deserves it, but we all know who it will go to!
Once again Rascal Flatts are passed over & ignored like they don’t exist! This is one of the reasons why these awards have come to mean so little….they don’t give them to the ones who deserve them. Oh well…what’s new…
This is a joke only 3 of the 5 artists for EOTY actually deserve to be nominated and they are Kenny, Keith, and Brad. Female Vocalist I think means that you actually have to be able to sing to Tswift getting nominated for that is a joke. Male Vocalist Darius Rucker is good but cmon I am so sick of Trace Adkins getting overlooked. Lets just hope the rest of the nominees when there announced arent as bad as this. And Go Keith For EOTY
Where is Sugarland for EOTY? King George is great and all, but he isn’t as entertaining as Jennifer and Kristian going out into the audience in ‘hampster balls’!!

I”m disgusted once again the Flatts boys get snubbed i guess there gonna have to kill someone before they get a nod. Selling out wrigley field having a album debut at #1 on the top 200 billboard and the all gerne’s chart i guess means nothing.
I’m not sure why so many people are hating on Taylor Swift in the EOTY category. Her tour this year is one of the most theatrical and entertaining things I have ever seen! (and I’ve been to MANY concerts over the last 10 years)
No big surprises…except Randy Houser for video…soooo excited about that! Really hope he gets New Artist but would love to see Jamey Johnson get that one as well. Really hope Martina or Reba get female vocalist but that won’t happen…Carrie or Taylor will get it. and I’m definitely excited for Lady A and their nominations…and I hope Montgomery Gentry get duo but I doubt that will happen…they are always overlooked
I don’t think Taylor should be in the EOTY category. Sugarland or Rascal Flatts should be there. Let’s hope to god she doesn’t win it. And I LOVE Taylor to death. Just don’t think she should be in that category at this point. There are other AMAZING acts that should be there instead.
I think Rascal Flatts get overlooked because they are POP! Now if they would only start overlooking Kenny Chesney… Sugarland should have been nominated for EOTY… Jamey Johnson should win in every category he’s nominated… Darius Rucker should win male vocalist (Kenny Chesney in a singing category is hilarious!)… I guess the only award I really care about this year is album of the year (That Lonesome Song was head and shoulders above anything released the last couple of years!)
I HATE taylor swift, but I have to admit, her show was SOOO entertaining, and she’s been touring practically all year right? I still HHHAAATTEEEEE to see her nominated for EOTY. YUCK! I have a feeling they’ll feel give her FVOTY just to make up for her not winning EOTY (there’s no way they’ll ACTUALLY give it to her…right??). Carrie, Martina, and Reba are the only ones who deserve FVOTY…I hope carrie wins, but i’m disappointed that she hasn’t done much this year. Can’t wait for her comeback with Play On!!

HAHA I definitely agree. The CMA has too much class to nominate Rascal Flatts! But then again I thought they had enough class to nominate avoid nominating Taylor Swift for EOTY.

Well once again Dierks Bentley was overlooked! I think that Feel That Fire should have had an album nod. Thrilled that Defying Gravity is nominated and that Keith of course is nominated for male vocalist and EOTY. He will probably not get either, but that’s how this goes. I would love to see him or Brad win EOTY, but unfortunately it will probably go to Taylor. I am so over awards shows…sigh
Happy for Lady A and Keith….Defying Gravity is such a great album…surprised no Gloriana…I dont consider Darius a new artist however he is new to country but still…I love him to death but….No Dierks!! Surprised and no Jason Aldean as well…love George but I am starting to think his time in EOTY and MVOTY are up…Shocked at the amount of nominations for ZBB…love them to….mostly shocked about Taylor for EOTY…she may put on a great show but I think Sugarland should have been their.
I am happy for Lady A! I really hope they win, but as a big fan, I hate saying it, but I don’t think they will. I hope that I am surprised and they do. The categories are all so bizarre this year having one obvious winner. I would like to see someone beat out Rascal Flatts though and Lady A is the most deserving of that award.
To be honest, Keith deserves EOTY. But will he get it, probably not. With that said, I hope it’s Taylor Swift who gets it if Keith doesn’t. Kenny does not deserve that award. Carrie also deserved a nomination in there, but, oh well.
For vocal duo, I am extremely happy for Joey & Rory! They truly deserve it. And while I would want this award to go to them or Sugarland, I feel it’s already handed to Brooks & Dunn with their retirement stunt. (Same as in the vocal event category, which helps Reba, who may get screwed in the female category.)
For vocal event, Kellie & Taylor’s Best Days should be in there instead of LeeAnn/George. I mean, was their song even released?
And the female category. KELLIE PICKLER WAS ROBBED! And I hate that Miranda Lambert doesn’t have a shot. Martina doesn’t really have one. I would like to see this award go to Reba, but it will most likely be Carrie or Taylor, but probably Taylor. Not that she doesn’t deserve a win, I just think the awards might become the Taylor Awards, so give this one to Reba!

The other categories, I say let whatever happens happen. But I do think some artists get screwed every time. Kellie, Luke, Jason, Gloriana. All of them deserve nominations, but where are they?
it is total absolute bullshit that Rascal Flatts was not nominated for EOTY! what a joke! and also Carrie wasn’t nominated either and she won EOTY at the ACMs. such crap. Plus, Unstoppable should have been nominated for album of the year. Brad Paisley’s came out just recently and RF’s was back the beginning of April. absolutely not fair at all.
BEYOND disappointed in this year’s nominations. Taylor may be on a huge tour right now, but she is a pop star. Plain and simple. I bet she has more fans that are pop listeners rather than country listeners. I know she works hard, and I appreciate that, but I will seriously freak if she walks away with EOTY when she’s nominated alongside those guys. I vote Keith Urban all the way.

Little Big Town is one of THE most talented acts in country music, yet all they ever get is a Vocal Group nom (AKA Rascal Flatts Award nom). Does radio even know they have singles aside from Boondocks? Ridiculously overlooked.
Sooo happy for Lady Antebellum and their noms. They deserve it. I’m so proud of them! Will they win? Probably not. But I would loooove to see them take home Single of the Year!!
Female Vocalist is gonna be a toughie. My vote is for Martina, but I’m sure this will end up just like the CMT Awards and become the Taylor Swift Show. If she’s gonna win something, just give her Album of the Year because she does NOT hold a candle to her fellow noms in the Female Vocalist category. She’s not even in the same league vocally. I would like to see Martina get the crown back, but I doubt she will. Everyone snubs all of the females of country music if they’re not 20-something and blonde.
I am so upset the the Flatts were passed up again!! They are so deserving of it! I guess I don’t understand how George Strait can be nominated. I get that he’s a legend, but he hardly tours and when he does he just stands there. And don’t even get me started on Taylor…I thought you had to have a good singing voice to be entertainer of the year, but evidently not. I will be pulling for Keith on this one for sure.
WOW…many people were left out. First, Luke Bryan is ALWAYS overlooked, although I dont know the eligibility requirements for the awards, he is definately worthly. I cant believe RF was left off ETOY and I cant believe they put Taylor in their spot. I really dont understand Jake in the new artist category, he has 2 albums out, but happy for him nonetheless. I do hope Keith gets hte ETOY though….these awards are a joke….it is hard for other artists to get the recognition they deserve!
I feel it’s more about power and money now than about the true talents. Just like all those years of Chesney winning EOTY…some make think he deserved all those, but I don’t! Just because he sold out stadiums…big deal that doesn’t mean he’s the best entertainer. Same way with Taylor. She’s only been at this for a year or two and just recently headlining and here she is with the most coveted award nomination at 19 yrs old and not really a good singer or seasoned entertainer. Maybe to the Disney crowd. I have seen her perform and she is more like a Disney artist. I guess we will see. But hoping Keith Urban gets EOTY! Go Keith!
Keith Urban got 4 noms and I sure hope he wins something especiall y EOTY. If Taylor Swift wins EOTY that would be so unfair. Many reviews have said her singing at the concerts was horrible and she did too much hair flipping.

The top 20 tours of all genres were announced and Kenny was #1. Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and Brad were also in that group. Taylor has only been headlining for 6 months and I do not believe should be up for Eoty (this year). I also think the Flatts were snubbed-it is not right. I don’t think Ts should get female VOCALIST either. Any of the other females are actually VOCALISTS and deserve this award. Carrie is my favorite to win this one. I think Darius should have been in the new artist catagory and I think a lot of very good artists were left out. Just my opinion.
Geez. What’s with all the hate against Taylor? She’s had the most successful album in all of music for the last 10 years. She’s been playing to record breaking crowds.
