Keith Urban will be making a special announcement tonight at his Nashville concert; followed by a special press conference on Monday. We’ve been doing some investigating and slowly but surely we’re coming up with some information.

I happen to know what the announcement is and its great. It will be in Nashville and will be for a good cause and a GREAT price. Cannot wait for October!

It appears someone made an oopsie and released a statement before Keith could make the official announcement…This info came from Jason Aldean’s website… OOPSY!
On October 13th, Keith Urban and friends Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, and Vince Gill will be performing a benefit show. All proceeds will benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame.
We’ll be providing more details as we recieve them. You can hear the official annoucement on www.keithurban.net at 9pm tonight when he announces it live from the Sommet Center in Nashville.

I don’t think Keith was looking for thunder. He’s looking to benefit the Hall of Fame. Bravo to Keith for organizing the event and to the other artists for participating, even big mouth Jason.

oh, big deal. So what. Jason was part of the benefit. Maybe Keith didn’t tell him it was a big secret. I don’t think means as much to Keith as it does to all the fans that have nothing better to do than speculate on what the ‘big’ news could be. Just a big publicity stunt. I am a huge Keith fan but this whole buildup was just silly in my opinion. I think I’d be more impressed if the benefit was for sick kids or cancer or something like that.
I agree Jen. A benefit for the Country Musi Hall of Fame?! What happened to St Jude, or anything worthy? I think this whole thing is so lame. Big deal. Also, I actually think it was rude to put the tickets on sale on a Saturday night with no notice. The whole thing is just lame.
