We got into our lot around 11 but weren't allowed to start drinking until 1:00. I didn't see any issues in our particular lot but saw a few people that were pretty out of it in the ladies room and definitely saw a few people being taken out of the bathroom/stadium by the paramedics. Not sure if those were alcohol or heat related issues though. I think that the heavy police presence helped keep people in check all though there will always be those people who can't seem to control themselves. And I agree with Courtney, it's really annoying to not be able to be up and dancing/singing at a show that you pay that much money to enjoy. I get people getting annoyed with super drunk people - what I don't get is people who go to a 7 hour long music festival and sit down in their seats the entire time, and get mad when other people are singing and dancing. some people need to lighten up or stay home!!! i was there, it was definitely more strict than last year (couldn’t go into the parking lots before 1, where usually its 10 or 11).
