OK Magazine got some juicy gossip out of Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough….Chuck does all the ironing!!! Aparrently, he LOVES to iron.
“I’m so good at ironing that if we’re doing a show – especially if Julianne and I are doing a show together – she will literally ask me to iron her stuff, because she has that much faith in my ironing skills,” he beams. “That’s pretty big time.”
Chuck also admits that his tour-bus MUST HAVE an iron…He doesn’t wanna look like a ‘sloppy mess’ when he goes on stage.
Keep him close Julianne…If Chuck likes to iron, that’s one less thing you have to do…

So this is what passes for news in Nashville, it really must be a very slow news day. I get it they are the so called “cute” country couple of the moment. How in the world can anyone forget, when that is what is said in every single article. If you say it enough times it must be true. Whatever happened to talking about their music because I have been under the impression that they both sing and stuff like that but from we have seen lately who knows and from the looks of it none of the country sites really care about that, they only care about this. So he irons, so what, so does my husband, so do lots of people but this is headline making news. STOP THE PRESSES!!!!
Hey Lita-I get your point…unfortunately, neither of these two is doing anything new at the moment…nothing that we haven’t already reported on anyway…No new music…show reviews can only posted so much before they are also repeating themselves….so…don’t let the story reflect upon our disinterest in their music…The fact is….If these two had anything truly new or musically exciting going on…I’d happily report it.
I fear that you missed my polnt completely Tawny. My point being is that there are so many other young up and coming artists in Nashville who just might like a bit of press for the things they are doing that just MIGHT be a bit newsworthy. How about the artist that goes to visit the wounded soldiers at a VA hospital or the artist who holds a benefit to support a local food bank or the artist who just opens up his home and heart to the less fortunate. They just might like a bit of a mention in this site and others. But I guess maybe they should splash their personal life all over the place and then maybe it might get a mention. But then again maybe not, I have a feeling most people would not want their personal life to be an open book.
No, I didn’t miss your point Lita…we do stories frequently on all the happenings in Nashville…celeb sightings…benefits, free concerts, and yes…fundraisers…When our good ole country folk do good deeds, we report it…However, if that’s all that we posted, we wouldn’t have a whole lot to talk about. We like to mix the serious with the light-hearted. We don’t go prowling around with cameras…stalking behind bushes trying to dig up the scoops…Usually, people are just willing to tell people…Every once in a while, people like to hear about more than just the music or sob stories…They want to feel like our favorite country stars are “normal” and just like us…So, Chuck ironing is a fun, quircky story…that just make make someone laugh…hell, it may even make someone hand their own man an iron once in a while and tell him to do it his damn self! Either way, sometimes we just want to have fun. All work and no play makes us grumpy gals.

Lita-I like a good debate as much as anyone…but I think maybe you need to take some time and read more light-hearted material…Not everything needs to be serious or do-gooder…every once in a while…people just need to laugh or read something senseless to give their emotions a break…
I actually agree with Lita, but not because I think you should always be ulltra-serious. I’m annoyed by the fact that you are posting about artists who are not only inactive now, but they haven’t really been active in the industry at all. Why do artists like that deserve coverage over others?
