Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks to “Play House”

We reported a while back that we thought Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough were gonna take the plunge and buy a home together…(You can read it here)…Well, it seems that “sources” say this is indeed the case.  Eonline is reporting that Chuck and Julianne have indeed bought a house and a ring is soon to follow…

“They just bought a house together,” another source said. “A proposal may be soon to follow. Supposedly [Wicks] already has a ring.”

Of course Chuck has a ring – he needs to make sure he doesn’t lose his hold on his gravy train now that Julianne is going to be doing a movie. And the house is just something he does with all of his girls — house, dog, songs, etc. Hope it works out better for Julianne than it did for his ex Heather Hines.

Play house, but Julianne’s crazy if she gets married anytime soon. She’s already had one broken engagment at 18. With her busy career and just turning 21 it seems marriage would be the last thing on her mind right now. And Chuck sure seems awfully anxious to get a ring on her finger. I don’t blame her family and friends for being concerned as the article says. Look what happened to Leann Rimes – married too young in the glare of the spotlight. It won’t last.

I think this is all hog wash. I don’t think they make a beautiful couple nor do I think they are happy together. With the exception of a few staged pictures, like the recycled one you have posted, they look bored most of the time with each other. I’ve seen them in person and watch them interact. He seems more interested in the girls who get his VIP package. If what they have is love – I’d rather watch paint dry. Dump him Julianne! He’s not worth it.

I have to disagree Sue…First…they are a nauseatingly beautiful couple…I have met Chuck and Julianne several times…Once was this past December at the Ryman. They walked up together through the back alley, and even though they were signing autographs acrossed the alley from each other, they kept taking quick glances towards one another…Ooozing with love. This past CMA Fest, we interviewed them as a couple before the softball game I felt like I was watching a very private moment between them. They seemed very in-sink with one another and at one point, I thought they were going to kiss. You could cut the love with a knife.

I also would expect Chuck to seem “interested” in the girls at his VIP bus pass…Frankly, if I paid $100 to meet him, I’d better be treated special…it’s an act…and he’s giving people their money’s worth.

For everyone who says she’s too young…I get that 21 is ‘too’ young to get married…but I also don’t expect Julianne to be out ‘hooking-up’ or ‘having fun’ like most 21 year olds i know….She’s obviously got a good head on her shoulders, and if what they’ve got works….why not? Sure , they’ll probably hit some rough patches and have to keep working on that obvious vomit-inducing love they have for each other….but that’s just marriage.

Tawny, It’s obvious you are ga ga over these two, they probably bring a lot of hits to your site.. But you should understand that not everyone sees what you do. Of course they are going to be over the top with each other in your presence and around their fans at The Ryman, etc. They know the audience they are playing to. I don’t doubt they are together and enjoying each other’s company, but the constant PR slant on this relationship just doesn’t make it seem all that genuine. Playing ”the country couple” to the hilt behooves both Chuck and Julianne at this point in their careers. Julianne is seen as more legitametly country for dating a country singer and being a part of a ”country couple.” Nashville eats this up. And, Chuck is getting mainstream press which I suspect he wouldn’t get without Julianne. The entertainment press is just interested in him becasue of his association with her. They certainly don’t give him much attention for his music or anything else that isn’t associated with the realtionship. I’ve met Chuck and Julianne as well. Went to to several of Brad’s shows last summer….and to CMA Fest this summer. They are nice, but to me, they came off like great buds just enjoying each other’s company. I don’t see much real spark. And frankly, DWTS didn’t present Chuck or the relationship in the best light.
