Trace Adkins says “That’s Messed Up!”

WKRN News 2 in Nashville has a segment on their broadcast called “That’s Messed Up!”  Basically, it’s a forum for people to call-out the wrong-doings of the ‘powers that be.’  Well, Trace Adkins has decided to voice his opinion.

Trace lives off of Concord Road in Brentwood.  His kids take the school bus to the school just up the street every day.  Concord road is being shut-down for 3 months while the road is being widened, and Trace isn’t happy his kids are gonna be on the bus for nearly an hour longer to take, what should be, a 10 minute bus ride.

“We were forewarned our kids would have to get up 45 minutes earlier, than normal, to take this long circuitous route to school, and the school is at the end of this road.”

You can see a video of Trace discussing the problem on MusicCityTv.com

Perhaps Trace should drive his children to school! It is a parents’ responsibility to get their children to school……not the taxpayers.

Irene, You are wrong!! Part of tax money is used for busing children to school!!
