When you become a fan of an artist in the beginning of their career it’s really something special to watch them become “superstar” successful. I became a Rascal Flatts fan the first time I heard “Praying for Daylight” and became what my family calls an “uber fan” the first time I saw them play live.
I have lots of Rascal Flatts memories that I will always remember but what is even more important are the friendships that I have built with people through their music.
I met some of my best friends at the Rascal Flatt Fam Jam in 2005. Ya’ll will remember this…….ENJOY!
I do miss these days! Have I mentioned how much I am loving Rascal Flatts week!

Thanks for the comment…..BUT YES they ‘DO’ remember me:) For some reason the guys have a condition called ‘Selective Amnesia’…it is most unfortunate to us who knew them in’their past life’….LOL Just a little bit of advice : DO NOT ALWAYS BELIEVE EVERYTHING THAT YOU HEAR !!! I honestly am not sure as of why they choose to be nice at appointed times: Mostly when it generates them getting their name on the web or some type of promotion! Let me ask you this: Do you recall the people in your past that you spent a great deal of time with? Both in public AND ‘very private settings?’ I am quite sure that you do” As most of us do! Because of those times…..I know for a fact that the guys remember me…quite well !! Jay & I always seemed to be the center of attention!
BUT…you are quite right……why should I care?? !! Mostly over the fact that I, too, thought waaay more of them than I should! Believe me……I could let the’cat out of the bag’ so to speak……But I do happen to have morals and values…so I choose not to! So, may the whole world go on loving them and thinking they are the best ever…..We who happen to ‘really know them on a very personal level’……well….we’ll just smile & know better!!

You can have your opinion, but I still have mine, I chose to believe that they are charitabke, down-to-eartth people who love their fans as much as we love them. It would be different if I’d heard tons of stories about then being rude or arrogant but I haven’t. Usually if behavior like that is really linked to a person, it is all over the internet, constantly coronicled by fans, ect. Thanks for replying though

Of course they ‘LOVE’ their fans….they would be OUT of Work if they didn’t!! I am speaking about
a ‘persoan;’ SNUB…..not about how they smile for the camera & sign a bunch of autographs…..AGAIN…that is their JOB! Whatever….it doesn’t matter….I was only venting MY Displeasure…….not how their “FANS” perceive them! Go on Love ‘em all ya want…Jay’s looking to buy a new house….he needs the cd & ticket sales!! LOL
Angel- Now you’re just being redundant! If the guys were arrogant or rude, don’t you think it would’ve been caught by media or fans?? Celebs don’t get away with that with so many people around all the time. The guys have donated millions to charity, and they do tons for the Red Cross and Make-A-Wish. If the guys did everything for “publicity” as you say, why would they continue? The only publicity they got for donating three million was a tiny TV spot on GAC, not a magazine article, nothing. They went to Iraq, where was the “publicity? Donating the most wishes to sick children? Nothing. If you want to talk publicty, look at people like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan; they get tons of publicty for doing nothing of importance. Of course they need publicity, every artist does! Why do people that work with them EVERYDAY call them humble, down-to-earth and intelligent? Why do their touring managers call them “great guys?” Why did a runner who worked for them call them “the most down-to earth, normal guys ever?”
