As most of you already know Steve McNair, former Tennessee Titan, was found shot and killed in his Nashville condo on Saturday.

A few country artists have released statements and are reacting to the tradegy. Quotes are taken from Music City TV

From Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts:

“Gary, Joe Don and myself are deeply saddened by the loss of Steve McNair…. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this extremely difficult time….”

And from Hank Williams Jr., owner of the Monday Night Football open:

“The NFL has lost a great player and I have lost a great friend.  “McNair was a good guy, helping many with his humanitarian efforts and he will be missed.”
